Sam and Tusker are travelling across England in their old RV to visit friends, family, and places from their past. Since Tusker was diagnosed with dementia two years ago. For me personally it’s the chemistry between Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci, both of them are superb and the ending is generally powerful and memorable, it got a fantastic story and this is a well – made film.

9.Top Gun: Maverick

After thirty years, Maverick is still pushing the envelope as a top naval aviator, bust must confront ghosts of his past when he leads TOP GUN’s elite graduates on a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it. I was totally surprised by this film as this is enjoyable, this one got amazing set pieces and it is watchable, it is a thrill ride type of film that is gripping and exciting.

8.The Woman In The Window

An agoraphobic woman living alone in New York begins spying on her new neighbours, only to witness a disturbing act of violence. Everything about this film certainly ticked all the boxes as this got a memorable villain, this is unpredictable and it is certainly tense as the acting is really convincing, it never get too overcomplicate like with the flashback element and this is believable.

7.Dreamland

Eugene Evans dreams of escaping his small Texas town when he discovers a wounded, fugitive bank robber. Eugene must make a decision that will forever affect the lives of everyone he’s ever loved. Gorgeous looking and a beautiful film with stunning scenery, plus the two-lead got good chemistry together and it has got a good story, it is an old-fashioned type of film and it is a slow burner.

6.Moonshot

Two college students as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking on a lively journey that takes them wildly off course. Definitely one of the best romantic film which blended with the science fiction element, it certainly work and you actually care with these characters, some people might think it is too predictable but this is heartfelt.

5.The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. A touching and a sincere animation film that can be slightly harrowing, if you get past this it has got a beautiful story and the animation itself look gorgeous, the lead is likeable and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.

4.The Secret Of Marrowbone

In 1960s rural America, A young man and his three younger siblings, who have kept secret of their beloved mother in order to remain together, are plagued by a sinister presence in the sprawling manor in which they live. Creepy looking film and it is one of those film that creep you under your skin, the acting is amazing and totally believable as this is intriguing, the pacing is perfect as it is engrossing and it does hold your interest.

3.Chaos Walking

Two unlikely companions embark on a perilous adventure through the Badlands of an unexplored planet as they try to escape a dangerous and disorienting reality where all thoughts are seen and heard by everyone. Just breath-taking as some of the set pieces are amazing and this is thought provoking, the ending is fantastic and I really admire this film as it try to be something different, this is certainly well – made and this is totally memorable and the scenery look fantastic.

2.The Water Man

A boy sets out on a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure said to have magical healing power. Being a massive fan of adventure films this would be ideal for a family viewing type of film, it is eye catching from start to finish and the story is there, it got stunning acting with a likeable lead and overall this is enjoyable, this is one of those film that drawn you in automatically.

1.DC League Of Super – Pets

Krypto the Super – Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, Krypto must master his own powers for a rescue mission when Superman is kidnapped. Having been unsure about this film it actually surprised me, it try to be something different and it work really well and the vocal talent in this film is superb, it got an easy-to-follow story and this is suitable for all ages and this is heartfelt and it is funny, this is definitely pure escapism and it is a rainy-day type of film.
