10.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

Dora, a teenage explorer, leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. With stunning scenery and this has got brilliant characters and it will divided people, it also balances the darker element with the comedy aspect and that work really well and it is well – casted, it is joyous type of film and but it also a feel-good experience.

9.Herbie Fully Loaded

Maggie Peyton, the new owner of Herbie, Number 53, the free – wheeling Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own, puts the car through its paces on the road to becoming a NASCAR competitor. An underdog type of film which is uplifting, it also about family in general and this film is actually moving and it is relatable, it might be too predictable for some people but this is enjoyable.

 8.A Boy Called Christmas

An ordinary boy sets out on an extraordinary adventure to find his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of Elfhelm. This has got an all star cast and it also got a cute story that is beautiful, it never get too overcomplicated with the flashback element and the film in general is certainly watchable, it got a likeable lead and overall, it is a really good film that will surprised you.

7.Casper

An afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid the premises of wicked spirits. I actually growing up watching this film and I always remember this, the CGI/SFX is amazing and this film is generally cute from start to finish and this is well meaning, the acting is really convincing and this is totally believable.

6.Strange World

The legendary Clades are a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission. One of those film that might not win any awards but this is generally heartfelt and it is a well-meaning film, it also deals with the gender aspects and that certainly work and this is silently powerful, it got a cute story and it is easy to follow and the characters are great plus this is memorable.

5.City Of Ember

For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember’s once powerful generator is failing and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Gorgeous looking film which is well casted and the story is simple to follow, the chemistry between the two lead is superb and this is watchable and it will drawn you in. it definitely one of the best adventure films that is exciting and thrilling at the same time.

4.Pinocchio (2022 Disney)

A puppet is brought to life by a fairy, who assigns him to lead a virtuous life in order to become a real boy. Personally, I don’t get the hate for this film as the CGI/SFX will certainly wowed you and this is magical, it got an all star cast and they are really convincing and this is a really nice film that is suitable for all ages, it is pure escapism and this is certainly a well – made film.

3.Earth To Echo

After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of kids embark on an adventure with an alien who needs their help. Coming of age film that is generally powerful and the ending will certainly move you, it’s a found footage film and for me personally it certainly works and it might not drawn you in automatically, once the film get going you will be pleasantly surprised as it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.

2.Charlotte’s Web

Wilbur the pig is scared of the end of the season, because he knows that come that time, he will end up on the dinner table. He hatches a plan with Charlotte, a spider that lives in his pen, to ensure that this will never happen. Definitely one of the nicest films as the vocal in this film is spot on, it is heartfelt and it is a really cute film and the story is easy to follow, overall, this is an inoffensive film for all ages.

1.Bee Movie

Barry B Benson graduates from college and is now working at Honex. And then, when he flies outside the hive, he meets a human florist from New York City named Vanessa Bloom. And suddenly, Barry finds out humans eat honey, he plans to sue them. Everything about this animation film ticked all the boxes, it is funny, heartfelt and the moral is be an individual and try to fitted in this world and I personally connect to that message, the vocal in this film is brilliant and this is joyous and it is uplifting.

  1. I think family friendly films have go to be more than just children’s films but should appeal to all generations. They should also reflect family values and have something magical thrown in for a sense of wonder. A tall order but here are my selections:
    E.T.
    The Goonies
    Finding Nemo
    Wizard of Oz
    Toy Story
    Jungle Book
    Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

  2. That is true and you have got a really good point about the meaning of family friendly type of films, your selections of films are really good and I haven’t seen ET yet, I will definitely keep my eyes on this film as I like Steven Spielberg.
