10.Sky High
Set in an era where superheroes are commonly known and accepted, young William Stronghold, the son of the Commander and Jetstream, tries to find a balance between being a normal teenager and an extraordinary being. This is one of those film with a clever idea and it does work really well and this is well meaning, it is entertaining and it is generally funny and it about family in generally which is important, it is well casted and this is watchable from start to finish.
9.Racing Stripes
An abandoned zebra grows up believing he is a racehorse, and, with the help of his barnyard friends and a teenage girl, sets out to achieve his dream of racing with thoroughbreds. Some people will like this and some don’t but I personally enjoyed this film, it also an underdog type of film and it is a feel-good experience, this is a really nice film and this is actually enjoyable.
8.The Haunted Mansion
A realtor and his wife and children are summoned to a mansion, which they soon discover is haunted, and while they attempt to escape, he learns an important lesson about the family he neglected. With remarkable CGI/SFX that is absolutely amazing and this is well casted and it is really funny, it also balances the darker element with the comedy aspect and it work really well, the story is magnificent and it will drawn you in from the start and it is well made.
7.Black Beauty (2020)
A wild horse and a teenage girl forge an unbreakable bond which keeps them connected for a lifetime. Real, honest, and relatable plus this is generally moving and it will wowed you as it got stunning scenery, you actually care with these characters and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you, it is one of those film you can watch on a rainy day and it is pure escapism as it is a really nice film.
6.Annie (2014)
A foster kid, who lives with her mean foster mom, sees her life change when business tycoon and New York City mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly – veiled campaign move and takes her in. Personally, I don’t really get the hate for this film as the songs is truly memorable and the musical element is really good, it also deals with the diversity element and that is really important and the main lead is likeable, overall, this is enjoyable and it is generally uplifting that you needed.
5.The Water Man
A boy sets out on a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure said to have magical healing powers. Beautifully made adventure film that doesn’t feel forced and not too sentimental for some people, the casting is perfect and spot on and they are really convincing plus it is watchable from start to finish, it is one of those film that is so underrated and this is memorable.
4.Lemony Snicket’s: A Series Of Unfortunate Events
When a massive fire kills their parents, three children are delivered to the custody of cousin and stage actor Count Olaf, who is secretly plotting to steal their parents’ vast fortune. Gorgeous looking film which is magical, Jim Carrey is totally unrecognizable in his role and the acting in general is really good, it can be laugh out loud funny and this is entertaining and enjoyable.
3.Monster House
Three teens named DJ, Chowder and Jenny discover that their neighbor’s house is really a living, breathing, scary monster. Definitely one of the best animation film as this has got a beautiful multilayered story, it certainly drawn you in as this is exciting and it will thrilled you at the same time as this is superbly made, this can be really powerful and this will certainly wowed you.
2.Homeward Bound (1993 – 1996)
Shadow, Sassy, and Chance are back. It’s been three years since their trek through the woods and over the mountains. Now the owners live in San Francisco and are taking a vacation in Canada. There’s only one problem, the pets escape from the airport while being put in the cargo hold of the plane. All of those films are consistent and you don’t have to be an animal’s lover and this is the ultimate family friendly type of film, the scenery is beautiful and this is suitable for a rainy day as this is pure escapism and it is a really cute film.
1.Early Man
Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Crowd pleaser type of film that will made you smile and this is uplifting, it also an underdog type of film and it is generally funny plus this is heartfelt and it got great characters, this is memorable and the moral is never giving up and I personally relate to that message, this is well made and this is well meaning and it just a joyous film.
