In seaside Italy, a Holocaust survivor with a daycare business takes in a 12-year-old street kid who recently robbed her. It is one of those film that can be moving and generally powerful plus it is well casted, the story is spot on and this is really intriguing from the start and this watchable and it will surprised you, the chemistry between the two lead is really good and overall, it will draw you in.
9.News Of The World

A Civil War veteran agrees to deliver a girl, taken by the Kiowa people years ago, to her aunt and uncle, against her will. They travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home. Gorgeous looking film that automatically drawn you in and this is well – made, the story is magnificent and the two lead got chemistry together and this can be really exciting, overall this film is generally powerful and it will moved you.
8.Hillbilly Elegy

An urgent phone call pulls a Yale Law Student back to his Ohio hometown, where he reflects on three generations of family history and his own future. Might be rather harrowing for some people but if you get past that it actually a really good film, the acting is absolutely amazing and especially Amy Adams, this film is certainly eyeopener and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.
7.The Duke

In 1961, Kempton Bunton, a 60-year-old taxi driver, steals Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. A likeable film that will made you smile and this is a underdog type of film, it is one of those film that is easy to watch and it also based on a true story and this is generally a feel good type of film, the acting is wonderful and really convincing and this is totally believable and it also a well – made film.
6.The Company You Keep

After a former member of the radical protest/terrorist organization the Weather Underground turns herself in to the FBI, a young journalist becomes determined to find the other members. Totally unpredictable and this film is generally gripping from start to finish, the ending to this film is beautiful and it got an all star cast and this is exciting, it also totally believable and this has got a brilliant story and this is so underrated.
5.Munich: The Edge Of War

A British diplomat travels to Munich in the run up to World War II, where a former classmate of his from Oxford is also en route but is working for the German government. Perfectly paced film that hold your interest and this is totally unpredictable, the casting is spot on and with a likeable lead and with this type of film it is generally sincere, the story is gripping and this is generally exciting and overall, this is an effective film.
4.The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain

English artist Louis Wain rises to prominence at the end of the 19th century for his surreal cat paintings that seemed to reflect his declining sanity. Definitely one of the best Benedict Cumberbatch film as this is so different, some people will like this and some don’t as this can be rather surreal and weird but it needed it in this film, the ending is beautiful and this is superbly made as this is totally memorable.
3.Dreamland

Eugene Evans dreams of escaping his small Texas town when he discovers a wounded, fugitive bank robber. He fallen in love with her and Eugene must make a decision that will forever affect the lives of everyone he’s ever loved. A slow burner type of film and you actually care with these characters, it also characters driven and this is highly compelling and I personally don’t get the hate for this film, it is so underrated as this is simply a beautiful film and this is memorable
2.The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

As the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has only a single remaining vacancy, posing a rooming predicament for two fresh arrivals, Sonny Kapoor pursues his expansionist dream of opening a second hotel. Joyous and uplifting film that will made you smile as this is easy to watch, with an all star cast and it is heartwarming and it is a really cute film, this is a really nice film and overall it is a rainy day type of film.
1.The Aeronauts

A balloon pilot and a scientist find themselves in a fight for survival while attempting to make discoveries in a gas balloon in the 1860s. Characters driven film with amazing scenery and the set pieces is truly outstanding, it never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element and that work really well, Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones is spot on with their chemistry and that is the key to this film, it is eye catching and this is generally thrilling plus this is watchable.
Having a Volume 2 has given me a chance to delve further into underrated drama films.
1. Heavenly Creatures (1994) – Based on a true story of two schoolgirls who murder one of their mothers. Directed by Peter Jackson.
2. The Verdict (1982) Courtroom drama starring Paul Newman.
3. One False Move (1992) – Small town Police chief is waiting for a gang of killers.
4. Sleuth (1972) – Full of twists and turns. Stars Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine.
5. Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid (1982) – Tribute to film noir starring Steve Martin. Inter cut with old films to look like Steve Martin is talking to old film stars.
6. Lorenzo’s Oil (1992) – Based on a true story of parents researching a cure for their young son’s nerve disease.

All of those films that you recommended all of those sounded really good, I will definitely keep my eyes on these films.
