5.The Imitation Game
During World War II, the English mathematical genius Alan Turing tries to crack the German Enigma code with help from fellow mathematicians while attempting to come to terms with his terms with his troubled private life. For me personally it’s the acting and the story that made this film really good, it never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element and that work really well, overall it will drawn you in as this is really intriguing from the start.
Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. With likeable characters and this is joyous and uplifting film, some people might find this too predictable but this is generally heartfelt and with brilliant soundtrack, it got an all star cast and they are really good and this is heart-warming and a really cute film.
3.Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
Blacksmith Will Turner teams up with eccentric pirate “Captain” Jack Sparrow to save his love, the governor’s daughter, from Jack’s former pirate allies, who are now undead. Entertaining and generally funny film with a brilliant cast, the CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and this is like a thrill ride type of film as this is action packed, the pacing is perfect as this is never boring and this is certainly watchable, it is one of those film which is suitable on a rainy day and this is pure escapism.
The story of New Zealand’s Robert “Rob” Edwin Hall, who on May 10, 1996, together with Scott Fischer, teamed up on a joint expedition to ascend Mount Everest. Stunning scenery and with a multi-layered story which never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element, the acting is absolutely amazing and especially Keira Knightley despite she got a smaller role, it got likeable characters and this is moving and it pay respect to those people who inspires this film.
The true story of a British whistleblower who leaked information to the press about an illegal NSA spy operation designed to push the UN Security Council into sanctioning the 2003 invasion of Iraq. One of the best Keira Knightley film as this will moved you and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you, the ending is beautiful and this is certainly gripping and it does hold your interest, if you really into true story type of film this is ideal for you.
