10.Inception
A thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream – sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a CEO, but his tragic past may doom the project and his team to disaster. It has got the A.I element in this film. The set pieces are outstanding and eye catching, this has got an all – star cast and they all convince in their roles, it is certainly entertaining from start to finish, overall this is pretty good film.
9.The Creator
Against the backdrop of a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence, a former soldier finds the robot’s secret weapon to end the conflict, an AI in the form of a child. Having watched this film I thought wowed as this is surprisingly good. It’s the story that will draw you in, there are some minor flaws in this film; if you get past that this film will made you think, it might be action packed but it never loses the story itself, this is superbly made.
8.The Matrix
A computer hacker discovers that his life is nothing more than an elaborate simulation run by an evil AI. Got to admit something I quite enjoyed this film. it is another film which made you think, it never gets too overcomplicated and that is the key, the villain is perfectly sinister and memorable, overall this is an epic and a thrill ride type of film.
7.Ex Machina
A younger programmer is selected to participated in a ground – breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a highly advanced humanoid A.I. Fantastic film that will draw you in from start to finish. it got that psychological element; this feels unpredictable as it got twist and turn, the chemistry between the two lead is excellent, the ending is clever and totally memorable, I reckon this film will surprised many people.
6.Minority Report
The chief of a police unit that can accurately predict and prevent crimes goes on the run after he’s accused of a future murder himself. Entertaining film with amazing set pieces. It does delve deep with the A.I aspect, this feels like a thrill ride type of film; it might be action packed but it never loses the film itself, the casting is perfect and spot on, this is superbly made film.
5.Terminator 2: Judgement Day
A cyborg from the future, identical to the one who failed to kill Sarah Connor, must now protect her ten-year-old son John from an even more advanced and powerful cyborg. Dated action film that works perfectly. It does delve deep into the A.I aspect; Skynet is a self – aware A.I defence system, so technically it is an A.I film; the villain and the soundtrack is certainly memorable, the acting and the ending is brilliant, this is silently good film.
4.Eagle Eye
Jerry Shaw and Rachel Holloman receive a mysterious call from an unknown woman. The woman controls their every move and asks them to carry out a dangerous mission planned by a terrorist outfit. Chemistry between the two main lead is excellent. It got twist and turn throughout this film, It does look into the networked Al element and that is important, It has got an all – star cast and they all convince in their roles, I reckon it will surprise people.
3.I, Robot
In 2035, a technophobic cop investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity. Being a science fiction film it does involve robots and some artificial intelligence element. The ending is amazing as this is a thought-provoking film, the CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and with amazing set pieces, once you watch this film you will always remember it, this is more character driven than you expected.
2.Big Hero 6
A special bond develops between plus – sized inflatable robot Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who together team up with a group of friends to form a band of high – tech heroes. A film that will touch people heart as this is genuinely powerful. It about life, family and friends at the same time, it is funny and heartwarming which you needed, it does looks at artificial intelligence aspect, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
1.WALL.E
A robot who is responsible for cleaning a waste – covered Earth meets another robot and falls in love with her. Together, they set out on a journey that will alter the fate of mankind. Just breathtaking as this is universally for everyone. This is artificial intelligence as it deals with A.I within this film, it is cute and heartwarming film that will capture people heart, the good thing with this film it suitable for all ages and a family viewing, this is watchable.
